Once more in 2008, and as in other years, numerically speaking the most common sponsorship around the world is bought at between $150,000 and $500,000.
 
What is interesting in 2008 is that the proportion of higher value sponsorships (valued at over $10 million) over the total sample is actually higher at 20 percent than the 13 per cent seen in 2007. The number of sponsorships announced for Beijing 2008 and London 2012 show that the mega events such as Olympics, NFL, F1 and international soccer are making these distinctive huge TV audience events more attractive than ever.
 
Anecdotal evidence is that the properties in between the premium events and the more common lower value properties that are being squeezed hard.
